Lenard Sciancalepore is a new NDIS Mentor at Employment Options because he believes in the capabilities of young people and loves facilitating this growth to help them be the best versions of themselves. With a community background through his local Rotaract club at the University of Adelaide, Lenard is actively engaged in volunteering across South Australia including trash clean ups, tree planting, and running professional development workshops. Since 2017, Lenard has been the key organizer of the state’s largest youth-lead and managed multicultural festival, Cultural Night, which has raised over $13,400 for various charities since its inception.

An active traveller and language-learner, Lenard loves exploring new cultures, understanding traditions, and connecting with people. One of Lenard’s favourite quotes is by the late Nelson Mandela: “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” For fun Lenard loves volunteering, going out with friends, playing chess and strategy games, spending time in the garden, cooking, eating, listening to music, and watching movies.
